Veterinary Technician ($7,500 Sign On Bonus)

About The Role

Meadowlands Veterinary Hospital is seeking a dedicated and skilled Veterinary Technician to join our compassionate and dynamic team. As a member of our clinical team, you will be integral in providing comprehensive care to our patients while working closely with veterinarians and other support staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with diagnostics
• Support surgical procedures and patient care
• Calculate and administer oral and injectable medications
• Review lab work and patient records
• Educate clients on treatment plans and preventative care
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with pet owners
• Ensure a high standard of patient advocacy
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient record documentation using EzyVet
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow
• Prioritize tasks in a fast-moving clinical environment

Requirements

• 2+ years of Veterinary Technician experience
• Surgical experience and confidence supporting anesthesia monitoring
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and organization
• Ability to stay adaptable and composed in a fast-paced setting
• Solid clinical judgment and independent work capability
• A team-first mindset with openness to feedback and growth
