Veterinary Technical Trainer

Responsibilities
- Maintain proficiency in departmental nursing competencies while actively working in a hands-on clinical technician role.
- Lead and facilitate training for veterinary technicians and assistants across assigned hospitals.
- Ensure team members complete required continuing education and maintain ongoing skill development.
- Implement new company-wide and global training initiatives within the hospitals.
- Elevate patient care standards through education, mentorship, and hands-on coaching.
- Foster strong collaboration and communication between technicians, assistants, and hospital leadership.
- Track, document, and report staff training progress, ensuring accountability and follow-through on all programs.
- Partner with the National Technician Trainer to support development of new training programs, digital learning content, recruitment initiatives, and retention strategies.
Requirements
- Maintain RVT/LVT/CVT in accordance with state laws.
- High School Diploma required.
- Possession of Vet Technician skill level III or greater required.
- Previous experience as a BluePearl Veterinary Technician (skill level IV or VTS) is preferred.
- Demonstrated capacity to deliver effective training required.
- Previous supervisory capacity or background in education preferred.

Pay
$34.50 - $51.00 / hour. Pay band is dependent on experience and advancement through our competency assessment tool. Candidates with VTS credentialing are eligible for compensation commensurate with experience.
Schedule
Weekday expectation -- Schedule requires flexibility to adapt to varying shifts based on operational needs.
