Veterinary Surgeon - real progression / ownership opportunities
We are a well-established, progressive practice in a fantastic location with great local amenities and two airports nearby. Our purpose-built, standalone clinic in Lisburn Longstone boasts an Idexx in-house lab, digital x-ray, ultrasound, and four consult rooms—one of which can be yours. The practice is just 10 minutes from Belfast, the coast, and the mountains, and 25 minutes from both airports, making it an ideal location for relocation, with a package available to the right candidate.
About the role
We are looking for an experienced, cat-loving Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly team on a full-time basis, ideally starting in December. While full-time is preferred, we are open to part-time arrangements starting at 2 days per week plus 1 in 2 Saturdays (9 am–1 pm), with flexibility to discuss options. This role offers no out-of-hours or Sunday work, and weekends are limited to Saturday mornings on rotation (currently 1 in 2, negotiable).
We foster a supportive, family-like environment with a fear-free practice ethos and are keen to attract someone interested in long-term growth, future partnership, and career progression. If you have a special interest or innovative ideas, we’re happy to support you—we recently became the first practice in Northern Ireland to adopt HT Vista.
