Thrive Pet Healthcare is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join Saint Francis Veterinary Specialists's team. Located in the charming town of Decatur, just a hop, skip, and jump away from Atlanta, Decatur offers a vibrant mix of boutiques, galleries, and eateries, along with a rich musical scene.
About the role
Join a community of veterinary care providers dedicated to elevating your practice and providing top-notch patient care. Saint Francis Veterinary Specialists holds AAHA Accreditation and offers multi-specialty and 24/7 ER services. The team includes specialists in Internal Medicine, Oncology, and Surgery, with a team of highly trained ER doctors contributing to patient care. Advanced equipment such as Ultrasound, CT, and endoscopes are available.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate and skilled veterinary care to patients
- Collaborate with a team of specialists and ER doctors
- Utilize advanced diagnostic and treatment technologies
- Contribute to ongoing research and educational initiatives
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree
- State Veterinary Board License in good standing
- Active DEA license or eligibility for DEA licensure
- Board Certification in Veterinary Surgery or completion of a residency program
Qualifications
