Equipment on-site includes CT, MRI, linear accelerator, ultrasound, endoscopy, and a pulmonetic ventilator. Additional features encompass a dedicated full pharmacy and an in-house blood bank. The team boasts experienced veterinary professionals with over 25 years of high-quality emergency medicine and critical care practice in San Antonio.

The hospital is passionate about teaching and mentoring veterinarians via externships and offers a well-established one-year "ER Academy" internship program, aiming to build a strong medical and emotional foundation for a successful career in Veterinary Emergency Medicine.

Responsibilities
- Provide advanced veterinary surgical care as a board-certified or residency-trained surgeon.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of veterinary professionals.
- Participate in teaching and mentoring through externships and the ER Academy internship program.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree.
- State Veterinary Board License in good standing for the state of employment.
- Active DEA license or eligibility for DEA licensure.
- Board Certified Veterinary Surgeon (DACVS) or Residency Trained Veterinarian.
