About the role

Responsibilities

• Manage a multi-line phone system and greet clients with a positive attitude
• Maintain accurate medical records and manage appointment schedules
• Handle financial transactions and ensure smooth operation of the hospital
• Educate clients on preventative care and other hospital services
• Provide a calming presence for clients and demonstrate empathy in every situation

Requirements

• A passion for providing excellent customer service and a genuine love for animals
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage stressful situations with good judgment and a positive attitude
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
• A collaborative, team-first mindset and the ability to work both independently and with direction
• Experience with veterinary software is preferred
• A flexible schedule, including some weekends and holidays

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a veterinary setting is a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
