Veterinary Receptionist

Responsibilities

• Check patients in and discharge patients
• Handle invoicing and payments
• Provide customer service: greet clients, answer questions, process incoming patients
• Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and record messages for doctors and staff
• Manage incoming and outgoing mail and email
• Update and file patient charts
• Enter data into computerized billing program
• Retrieve prescriptions
• Assist with pet supply purchases (food, supplements, grooming items)
• Maintain cleanliness of the waiting room
• Perform retail sales
• Lift up to 50 pounds, stoop, bend, and stand for long periods

Requirements

• High School Diploma or relevant education and work experience
• Customer service skills
• Organizational skills
• Tech-savvy
• Team-oriented
• Strong communication skills
