Veterinary Receptionist

About the role

The Animal Dermatology Clinic - Colorado Springs is seeking a Receptionist to join their dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls
• Take accurate messages and book appointments
• Maintain charts and computer records
• Pharmacy and retail sales
• Marketing implementation
• Maintenance/ housekeeping
• Financial responsibilities

Requirements

• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (including but not limited to): Excellent client service skills, Excellent phone skills, Computer skill preferred, Excellent communication skills, Ability to work in a team oriented environment, Organized and detail oriented, Ability to take direction, Ability to handle money accurately and honestly, Possess sound decision making skills and multi-task while working in a stressful environment
• Education And Physical Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required, Must have experience working in the public (ie: restaurant, retail or service business), Experience in a veterinary hospital is required, Experience in a multi-specialty veterinary hospital is preferred, Dependable attendance is required, Must be able to lift 40 pounds, The ability to walk, bend, squat, stand or reach constantly during a minimum 8-hour day

Pay

$16.00 - $21.00 / hour depending on experience
