Veterinary Receptionist

About the role

Animal Urgent Care of Bentonville is seeking compassionate, experienced, and qualified veterinary support staff to provide the highest quality of medicine and service to the community.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the visual appeal of the hospital reception area
• Greet and welcome clients and patients
• Answer questions and triage client concerns
• Answer calls or emails and direct to the appropriate party for resolution
• Schedule appointments to maximize efficiency and daily flow
• Check in and check out clients and process payments
• Offer friendly emotional support in a compassionate and discreet manner during times of need
• Multi-task and communicate effectively
• Possess strong organizational and computer skills
• Be self-starters with a desire to continue to advance their knowledge and skillset

Qualifications

• Experienced Receptionist with a minimum of 1-year veterinary experience preferred
• Weekend availability, strongly preferred
• Compassionate and calm team-player
• Ability to multi-task
• Strong communication skills
• Highly organized and possess computer skills
• Self-starter with the desire to continue to advance their knowledge and skillset

Pay and Schedule

• Pay Range: $15 - $17/hr+ depending on level of experience
• Monday through Friday 2pm - 10pm and weekends
