About the role

WestVet Meridian is seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Internist to join their growing specialty team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to manage complex referral cases.
• Perform comprehensive internal medicine evaluations and treatments.
• Contribute to advanced diagnostic imaging and critical care services.
• Participate in ongoing education and training programs offered by MedVet.

Requirements

• Current AVMA accreditation or equivalent certification.
• Experience in internal medicine preferred.
• Strong clinical skills and excellent problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an ACVIM-approved program.
• License to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Idaho.
• Passing scores on relevant board exams.

Skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
