Veterinary Practice Manager - Emergency and Critical Care Services

About the role

We're looking for an experienced Practice Manager to lead our Emergency and Critical Care Departments at our Clearwater, Florida hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing practice and make a significant impact on the lives of animals and their owners.

Responsibilities

• Helping to support both the team and our patients
• Guiding team members, maintaining efficient workflows, and ensuring a seamless and supportive environment throughout each shift
• Collaborating with hospital leaders to ensure goals are met, team members feel supported, and care stays top-notch
• Offering feedback and guidance to team members, adjusting schedules when needed, and ensuring ER and CC stays fully stocked and ready to go
• Maintaining compliance with state regulations, SOPs, and OSHA
• Keeping the ER and ICU teams running smoothly and feeling supported

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Veterinary Technician
• Certification as a Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, or RVT) preferred
• Previous experience in specialty and/or emergency veterinary medicine preferred

Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Schedule

The schedule is flexible but requires availability during ER hours.
