Veterinary Practice Manager
About the role
We are seeking a Practice Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a well-established, AAHA-accredited small animal hospital in the Phoenix area. Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and support a team of veterinary professionals
Foster employee engagement, accountability, and professional growth
Assist with recruiting, onboarding, training, and retention initiatives
Conduct performance coaching and support team development
Partner with ownership to maintain a positive, collaborative culture
Oversee daily hospital workflow and operational efficiency
Manage staffing schedules and resource allocation
Ensure exceptional client service standards are consistently maintained
Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational excellence
Support implementation of hospital initiatives and strategic goals
Monitor key performance indicators and hospital performance metrics
Assist with budgeting, expense management, and operational planning
Partner with ownership on strategic initiatives and growth opportunities
Help drive profitability while maintaining high standards of patient care and client service
Champion a culture of exceptional customer service
Address and resolve client concerns professionally and effectively
Ensure clients feel welcomed, informed, and valued throughout their experience
Requirements
3+ years of veterinary practice management experience preferred
Strong leadership and team development skills
Experience managing staffing, scheduling, and employee performance
Excellent communication, conflict-resolution, and coaching abilities
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Financial acumen and experience working with practice metrics

Benefits
Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience
