Hometown Veterinary Partners is committed to a culture of collaboration and community. The Practice Manager reports directly to the Partner DVM or the President and is empowered to deliver exceptional, approachable, and individualized veterinary care.
Responsibilities
- Oversee veterinary hospital administration, operational plans, staff training, supply ordering, staffing, safety, security, and sustainability.
- Maintain a positive, supportive, and collaborative work environment with strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
- Hire, retain, train, and develop medical staff, including onboarding new team members and training on workflows and systems.
- Implement customer retention and engagement strategies to provide an exceptional client experience.
- Contribute ideas for continual improvement of the practice environment for care teams, patients, and pet parents.
- Guide and utilize support staff while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and health initiatives.
- Ensure all licenses are up to date and in accordance with state or federal guidelines.
- Ensure medical staff and facility comply with federal rules and regulations.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3–5 years of management experience in any industry.
- 3–5 years of veterinary experience.

Schedule
Variable hours based on hospital needs, typically 40–45 hours per week.
