Veterinary Practice Manager

About the role

The Village Vet is seeking a Veterinary Practice Manager to join their team in Chelan, Washington. This position offers a unique opportunity to support clients, contribute to the growth of the practice, and make a meaningful impact in veterinary medicine.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the hospital
• Maintain ownership of financial performance, including P&L, labor management, and cost control
• Manage inventory and supply ordering to maintain appropriate cost of goods
• Oversee scheduling and payroll processes to support both patient care and operational efficiency
• Lead and develop hospital team members, including coaching and performance management
• Improve workflows, processes, and client service experience
• Support implementation of company initiatives, systems, and operational standards
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Maintain a positive, collaborative team culture focused on accountability and engagement

Qualifications

• A high school diploma required; a bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Management, or related field is preferred but not required
• Some prior leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience is preferred (veterinary experience is a plus but not required)
• One to three years of experience preferred
• Willingness to learn financial fundamentals, including budgeting, labor, and cost control, with support and mentorship provided
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Eagerness to grow into a leadership role, with a proactive, can-do attitude
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods

Pay

$38.55/hr or $80,184 annually
