This full-time opportunity is ideal for someone looking to build a career in veterinary medicine while supporting advanced surgical care in a specialty animal hospital.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with department supervisors to ensure availability of sterilized surgical instruments and equipment
- Decontaminate, inspect, assemble, wrap, and sterilize surgical supplies for hospital use
- Set up and disinfect surgical suites and operating room spaces
- Operate steam and ETO sterilizers following safety protocols
- Maintain, inspect, and organize surgical instruments and equipment
- Manage inventory and monitor expiration dates on sterile supplies
- Complete routine autoclave testing and report results
- Disinfect and prepare linens for operating rooms
- Perform scheduled cleaning tasks to maintain surgical cleanliness standards
- Support hospital teams by providing clean, sterile equipment as needed
- Collaborate with Surgery, Anesthesia, and specialty medicine teams to support exceptional patient care
Requirements
- Experience with surgical instrumentation or sterile processing preferred, but not required
- CRCS or CBSPD certification preferred, but not required
- Veterinary specialty surgery experience is a plus

Qualifications

Pay
$22 - $24 based on skills assessment leveling
Schedule
Four 9-hour shifts, alternating every other week:
- Week One: Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday
- Week Two: Monday/Thursday/Friday/Saturday
