Veterinary Neurologist

About the role

Wisconsin Veterinary Neurology and Surgical Center (WVNSC) in Mequon, WI, is looking for a Veterinary Neurologist to join our growing, family-oriented team. Since opening in November 2023, we’ve built a loyal and expanding client base across Wisconsin and surrounding states. As a privately owned practice, we emphasize a supportive culture, exceptional patient care, and a forward-thinking approach to medicine. The practice is already handling 20–25 new consults weekly and is positioned for continued growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced neurological and neurosurgical care to veterinary patients.
• Collaborate with a close-knit, supportive team that values mentorship and teamwork.
• Occasionally participate in CE presentations and relationship-building visits to referring clinics.

Requirements

• DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited institution.
• Board-certified or residency-trained in veterinary neurology.
• Licensed (or eligible) to practice in Wisconsin with an active DEA registration.
• Proficient in neurosurgery and eager to contribute to a collaborative, positive culture.

Skills

• Experience with advanced imaging (1.5 Tesla Hallmarq 3rd-generation MRI, digital radiology).
• Proficiency in neurosurgical procedures using a surgical suite and surgical microscope.
• Ability to mentor colleagues and participate in team-based learning.
