About the Role
Join one of Colorado’s premier specialty hospitals as a Veterinary Neurologist at Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital. Located just outside Denver in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, our 37,500-square-foot, state-of-the-art specialty and emergency hospital offers a unique hybrid model combining multiple specialty services with general practice. This creates an environment where specialists, emergency doctors, general practitioners, certified technicians, assistants, and support staff work together as true partners in patient care.
As a teaching hospital with 14 rotating interns, learning and professional development are woven into our daily practice. You’ll join an established and highly respected neurology service, providing advanced diagnostic and surgical care for patients with neurologic disorders. You’ll have access to cutting-edge technology, resources, and multidisciplinary support to practice at the highest level while continuing to grow professionally.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced diagnostic and surgical care for patients with neurologic disorders.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of specialists, emergency doctors, general practitioners, and support staff.
- Mentor rotating interns and contribute to their professional development.
- Engage in continuous learning and exploration of new techniques.
- Shape the future of the neurology department through leadership and innovation.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree.
- Board certification or eligibility in veterinary neurology.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. (Veritas does not currently sponsor work visas except for TN or E-3 visas).
- Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English; additional languages are a plus.
