Veterinary Neurologist

About the role

Thrive Pet Healthcare is seeking a Veterinary Medical Neurologist to join the South Atlanta Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Center's team. Located in the town of Fayetteville, Georgia, this 24/7 ER center serves the Southern Atlanta community with robust referral relationships and cutting-edge facilities.

Responsibilities

• Care for complex cases requiring neurology expertise
• Collaborate with other specialists and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Contribute to the ongoing education and training of veterinary students and residents
• Participate in clinical research and contribute to the advancement of veterinary medicine

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree
• State Veterinary Board License in good standing
• Active DEA license or eligibility for DEA licensure
• Board Certification in Veterinary Neurology or completion of a residency program in veterinary neurology

Qualifications

• Experience in treating neurological disorders in animals
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
