About the Role
IndyVet Emergency and Specialty Hospital is excited to welcome a second Veterinary Neurologist to our collaborative, specialty-driven team in Indianapolis, IN. This is a unique opportunity to co-build and grow the Neurology service alongside a fellow Neurologist in a hospital culture that thrives on teamwork, transparency, and mutual support.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a fellow Neurologist to develop and implement the Neurology service
- Provide advanced neurological care to a diverse range of animal patients
- Participate in daily case discussions and cross-departmental problem-solving
- Utilize advanced tools such as on-site MRI and other diagnostic equipment
- Work closely with a skilled team of technicians, anesthesia department, and surgery team for integrated care
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA-accredited institution
- Current license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Indiana
- Experience in neurology or related field
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Qualifications
- Passionate about veterinary medicine and committed to high-quality patient care
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Skills
- Advanced knowledge of neurology principles and practices
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and software
