Veterinary Medicine Teaching Assistant

About the role

• Organize group sessions after regular class time to review material by reserving a small classroom via Assistant Dean Brendan Caputo (brendan.caputo@liu.edu)
• Answer questions during group sessions
• Prepare PowerPoint presentations using original teaching materials and/or create new presentations based on course learning objectives
• Prepare multiple choice questions and other activities such as games, Q&A sessions, and provide feedback on student learning and concepts requiring revision

Responsibilities

• Teach material to current Veterinary Medicine students

Requirements

• LIU student enrolled in an active Veterinary degree program
• Have completed the course with an A letter grade and maintain an overall GPA greater than 3.5
