Responsibilities
- Develop and lead a specialized oncology service within the hospital
- Treat a variety of cancer cases using state-of-the-art facilities and equipment
- Collaborate with surgical and internal medicine specialists to provide comprehensive patient care
- Participate in ongoing professional development and education
- Contribute to the hospital's mission of fostering a culture of compassion, integrity, and respect
Requirements
- Board certification in veterinary oncology
- Experience in treating various types of cancers in companion animals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong commitment to patient care and client satisfaction
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
- Current license to practice veterinary medicine in Washington State
- Passing scores from the AVMA Board of Veterinary Specialties examination

- Proven ability to diagnose and treat cancer in companion animals
