Responsibilities

• Develop and lead a specialized oncology service within the hospital
• Treat a variety of cancer cases using state-of-the-art facilities and equipment
• Collaborate with surgical and internal medicine specialists to provide comprehensive patient care
• Participate in ongoing professional development and education
• Contribute to the hospital's mission of fostering a culture of compassion, integrity, and respect

Requirements

• Board certification in veterinary oncology
• Experience in treating various types of cancers in companion animals
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong commitment to patient care and client satisfaction

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in Washington State
• Passing scores from the AVMA Board of Veterinary Specialties examination

• Proven ability to diagnose and treat cancer in companion animals
