Veterinary Medical Oncologist
About the role
SAGE Veterinary Centers - Redwood City is seeking a part-time Medical Oncologist to join our collaborative team. The role aims to expand our oncology services to six days per week.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Specialty, Emergency, and Urgent Care teams under one roof.
- Treat a busy and complex caseload in a state-of-the-art hospital setting.
- Work alongside a team of board-certified specialists in various fields including anesthesiology, cardiology, dentistry, internal medicine, neurology, oncology, rehabilitation, and surgery.
- Provide care in conjunction with experienced emergency and urgent care veterinarians.
Requirements
- Board certification in veterinary oncology.
- Experience in treating a variety of oncological cases.
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
- Current license to practice veterinary medicine in California.
Skills
- Knowledge of oncology principles and practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Pay
The base compensation for this position falls between $150K and $250K, depending on experience and qualifications.
