Veterinary Medical Law Attorney – California
About the role
Klinedinst is seeking an attorney with at least 3 years of experience to join our acclaimed Veterinary Law defense practice in our California offices. You’ll work alongside some of the best in the state, focusing on providing legal solutions for various individuals, entities, and organizations in the business of caring for animals. The ideal candidate is ready to take on responsibility, independently handling cases and analyzing complex issues, including those arising under the California Medical Practice Act in an administrative law context.
Responsibilities
- Independently handle cases and analyze complex legal issues
- Produce high-quality law and motion papers
- Litigate issues under the California Medical Practice Act in an administrative law context
- Work cohesively with team members and support staff
- Engage in client interaction on complex cases
Requirements
- Active member of the California State Bar with 3+ years of experience
- Strong academic credentials and a passion for advocacy
- Proven experience with excellent writing skills
- Solid work ethic, excellent organizational, and communication skills
- Commitment to working as part of a team

Pay
Starting salary range of $135,000–$175,000. Pay ranges are provided in compliance with SB1162, California’s pay transparency law; actual pay may vary based on factors including education and applicable experience.
