What You'll Do
- Preparing, calibrating, and troubleshooting laboratory analyzers
- Processing and running in-house diagnostics including:
- CBCs
- Chemistry panels
- Coagulation testing
- Urinalysis
- Blood typing and crossmatching
- Cultures
- Cytology and fluid analysis
- Serology testing
- Fecal testing
- Preparing specimens for shipment and managing send-out testing
- Entering, reporting, and releasing laboratory results
- Assisting with phone inquiries and add-on testing requests
- Preparing cultures for plating or shipping
- Maintaining laboratory equipment, supplies, and biohazard compliance
What We're Looking For
- Veterinary medicine experience
- Previous laboratory experience
Physical Requirements
- Standing and moving throughout a 10-hour shift
- Frequent computer work
- Working safely around laboratory chemicals and biohazard materials
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
