Veterinary Internal Medicine Specialist

About the role
You will be joining a tight-knit group of veterinarians including 10 seasoned Emergency Doctors and specialists in Critical Care, Cardiology, Medical Oncology, Surgical Oncology, Surgery, Radiation Oncology, Radiology, and Anesthesia! Care Center is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment including new Storz endoscope, 128-slice CT, and fluoroscopy. Each day starts with interactive doctor rounds in the spirit of collaboration, efficiency, and providing top-notch care to our patients. We value work-life balance for our providers, knowing that you can't care for patients if you don't care for yourself!
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a team of experienced veterinarians
- Provide comprehensive care to a diverse patient population
- Participate in daily doctor rounds
- Utilize state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment equipment
- Support the growth of veterinary technicians through mentorship and training
Requirements
- Current DVM degree from an AVMA accredited school
- Valid state license to practice veterinary medicine
- Experience in internal medicine preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Passing score on the AVMA core exam
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Effective time management and organizational skills
