About the role

The Charleston Veterinary Referral Center is seeking an Internist to join their growing team. Located in beautiful Charleston, SC, the hospital has recently expanded to 32,000 square feet, featuring advanced equipment including a 16-slice helical CT, high-field MRI, EMG, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, complete endoscopy suite, minimally invasive surgical capabilities, in-house blood bank, linear accelerator, and a top-tier intensive care unit. CVRC was awarded multiple prestigious awards, including the Veterinary Economics Hospital Conversion of the Year in 2012, Ethos' World Class Medicine award in 2023, and Ethos' Visionary Award in 2024.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality internal medicine services to a diverse caseload of dogs and cats
• Collaborate with other specialists and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment

Requirements

• Current DVM degree from an AVMA accredited school
• ACVIM certification in Internal Medicine
• Experience in internal medicine preferred
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients

Pay
