About the role

This is an ideal position for an internist who enjoys complex case work, continuity of care, and building lasting partnerships with clients and referring veterinarians.

Responsibilities

• Internal Medicine consults and rechecks
• Abdominal ultrasound
• Same-day endoscopy procedures

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

• A DVM degree from an AVMA accredited institution
• A current license to practice veterinary medicine in Connecticut
• Board Certification or completion of a residency program in Small Animal Internal Medicine
• Experience in complex case work and building client relationships

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will also possess:

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and referring veterinarians
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
