About the role
This is an ideal position for an internist who enjoys complex case work, continuity of care, and building lasting partnerships with clients and referring veterinarians.
Responsibilities
- Internal Medicine consults and rechecks
- Abdominal ultrasound
- Same-day endoscopy procedures
Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
- A DVM degree from an AVMA accredited institution
- A current license to practice veterinary medicine in Connecticut
- Board Certification or completion of a residency program in Small Animal Internal Medicine
- Experience in complex case work and building client relationships
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will also possess:
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and referring veterinarians
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
