Join Dogs and Cats Veterinary Referral and Emergency, a premier specialty and emergency hospital, where you will oversee vital infrastructure, manage essential medical equipment, and ensure a safe, efficient environment. Working as part of a multi-tiered management team, your leadership will directly impact our team, patients, and clients every day.
Responsibilities
- Oversee hospital and facility maintenance, repairs, and improvement projects
- Manage preventive maintenance and repairs for medical and office equipment
- Cook up vendor coordination, contractor, and service provider relationships
- Oversee IT, security systems, and building infrastructure
- Ensure OSHA compliance and lead hospital safety training and annual updates
- Manage maintenance contracts, equipment purchases, and vendor accounts
- Process and approve invoices and support accounts payable functions
- Monitor facility needs and prioritize repairs
- Collaborate with hospital leadership to improve operations and maintain regulatory compliance
Requirements
- 1+ years of facility management or operations experience
- Veterinary hospital experience and equipment knowledge strongly preferred
- Experience with OSHA compliance and workplace safety programs
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Oracle or veterinary practice management software is a plus
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary leadership team
- Willingness to respond to occasional after-hours facility emergencies
