Veterinary Extern - General Practice
About the role
An externship experience at Animal Care Center of Panama City Beach will give students the opportunity to understand the day-to-day operations of the practice and gain valuable hands-on clinical experience. Students will work closely with supervising Associate Veterinarians to gain experience in various aspects of veterinary practice.
Responsibilities
- Gain experience in gathering patient histories
- Perform physical exams
- Create treatment plans
- Diagnose and perform diagnostics
- Provide dental services
- Assist or perform surgical procedures
- Manage medical cases
- Practice communication skills with the medical team, support staff, and clients

Students must be 3rd or 4th year veterinary students.
