Veterinary Dermatologist

About the role

PET is seeking a dermatologist to join their growing team in Anchorage, Alaska. The ideal candidate will be excited about working in the scenic environment of Alaska and will be part of a team that offers state-of-the-art diagnostic services.

Responsibilities

• Perform dermatologic examinations for local and referred patients
• Utilize advanced imaging techniques such as radiography, contrast radiography, myelography, fluoroscopy, laparoscopy, video otoscopy, and arthroscopy
• Collaborate with other specialists to provide comprehensive care
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of high-quality diagnostic services

Requirements

• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Alaska
• Experience in dermatology for small animals
• Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
• Board certification in veterinary dermatology preferred

Skills

• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
