About the role

Upstate Vet Emergency + Specialty Care, located in Greenville, SC, is seeking a full-time Criticalist. This position is part of a dynamic and supportive environment where the specialty and emergency departments collaborate to provide compassionate and seamless patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care services to hospitalized patients
• Conduct diagnostic evaluations and develop treatment plans
• Collaborate with other veterinarians and support staff
• Participate in case rounds and team meetings
• Teach and mentor veterinary students and interns

Requirements

• Board certification or current residency training in critical care
• Experience in emergency and critical care
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in South Carolina
