About the role
Animal Emergency & Referral Associates (AERA) in West Caldwell, New Jersey is seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Criticalist to join our growing specialty and emergency hospital.
Responsibilities
- Provide critical care services to hospitalized patients
- Collaborate with other specialists and emergency veterinarians
- Contribute to research and development of advanced medical techniques
- Mentor and train veterinary students and interns
- Participate in case conferences and staff meetings
Requirements
- Board certification or completion of a residency program in veterinary critical care
- Experience in critical care and emergency medicine
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
- Current license to practice veterinary medicine in New Jersey
