Veterinary Client Service Representative

About the role

We are seeking a positive Client Service Representative to join our team at VCA Stoney Creek Animal Hospital in Charlotte, NC. As the face of VCA, you will set the tone for the practice by building and maintaining each customer's trust and confidence in our abilities. The CSR is the pivot around which the hospital operates.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors, answer telephones, and guide clients and their pets to exam rooms.
• Schedule and confirm appointments.
• Place outbound calls for follow-ups and reaching out to prospective clients.
• Present and explain fees, including processing payments.
• Recommend, select, and obtain products and services, including prescriptions.
• Answer questions regarding products and services, including educating clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care (e.g., heartworm prevention, housebreaking, flea & tick control).
• Manage medical records, charts, reports, and correspondence.
• Maintain hospital cleanliness, including removal of animal waste, ensuring the facility is neat both inside and outside.
