Veterinary Care Support - Overnight
About the role
Garden State Veterinary Specialists in Eatontown, NJ is adding an entry-level support position to help maintain the cleanliness, organization, and nightly workflow of the hospital while also assisting with basic patient care duties.
Primary Responsibilities
- Hospital Cleaning & Maintenance
- Nightly cleaning of the entire hospital workspace
- Sweeping and mopping floors throughout the working area
- Taking out trash
- Cleaning and disinfecting countertops, work tables, treatment areas, and workspaces
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary environment at all times
- Ensuring laundry is consistently washed, dried, folded, and restocked
- Monitoring and replenishing hospital supplies and inventory as needed
- Keeping treatment and work areas stocked and organized
About you
- Must be comfortable working around sick, injured, and recovering animals
- Able to follow instructions, work independently, and maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable and punctual
- Strong work ethic
- Comfortable with physical labor and being on your feet throughout the night
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work respectfully with doctors, technicians, assistants, and clients
- Animal handling experience is a plus, but not required

Salary
$17/hr - $18/hr
