Veterinary Cardiologist
About the role
Garden State Veterinary Services is seeking a Board Certified or Residency Trained Cardiologist to join their team as they convert their Morristown location into an outpatient specialty practice. The new practice will offer specialty care in Surgery, Cardiology, and Internal Medicine.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive cardiac care to a diverse patient population
- Collaborate with surgeons, internal medicine specialists, and other specialists to ensure multidisciplinary care
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical protocols and guidelines
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities
- Assist in the training and mentoring of veterinary technicians and students
Requirements
- Board Certification in Veterinary Cardiology or equivalent residency training
- Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA accredited institution
- Current license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of New Jersey
- Knowledge of veterinary cardiology principles and practices
