About the role
Puget Sound Veterinary Specialty & Emergency (PSVS) is looking to welcome a Boarded Veterinary Cardiologist to our Specialty and Emergency Hospital on the Olympic Peninsula. We provide referral and emergency services to much of the Gig Harbor/Tacoma area. Our specialties include Surgery, Neurology, Oncology and Internal Medicine. The fully equipped and staffed ER and ICU will help you to manage all your cases to the highest standard.
Responsibilities
- Manage cardiology cases to the highest standard using fully equipped ER and ICU
- Participate in daily case rounds each morning for continuous learning
- Engage in regular continuing education offerings
- Promote and maintain an outstanding hospital culture
- Collaborate with specialists and ER colleagues
- Participate in community outreach
Qualifications
- Board Certified in Veterinary Cardiology
- Collaborative and self-motivated
- Enjoys community outreach
- Willing to promote and maintain an outstanding hospital culture
Skills
- Strong clinical skills in veterinary cardiology
- Ability to work collaboratively with a skilled group of specialists and ER colleagues
- Commitment to continuous learning and growth

Pay
Compensation Range $250,000—$275,000 USD
