About the role
Mission Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Hospital and Overland Park Veterinary Emergency & Specialty are seeking a second small animal Cardiologist to join their growing team of specialists. They are interested in Board Certified candidates or those who have completed residency training in Cardiology and are practice limited.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert cardiac care to small animals
- Conduct diagnostic tests and interpret results
- Collaborate with other specialists and emergency veterinarians
- Participate in continuing education and professional development
Requirements
- Board Certification in Small Animal Cardiology
- Experience in small animal cardiology
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
- Current license to practice veterinary medicine in the state(s) where you plan to work
- Passing scores on the AVMA-accredited board examination for Small Animal Internal Medicine
