About the role
We are seeking compassionate, motivated Veterinary Assistants who are passionate about patient care, eager to expand their hands-on skills, and excited to be part of a collaborative, team-oriented culture.
Responsibilities
- Gain experience with a wide variety of cases while helping pets receive timely, high-quality care when they need it most.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Handle animals and perform basic animal care tasks.
- Multi-task and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Work collaboratively with veterinarians, technicians, and other staff members.
- Take direction and adapt to new tasks and procedures.
- Follow instructions and maintain a high standard of care.
- Show a positive attitude and a compassionate approach to client care.
Requirements
- Prior experience working in a veterinary setting – 1+ years.
- Experience as a Client Service Representative is a plus.
- Experience in handling animals and performing basic animal care tasks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members.
- Ability to multi-task and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Compassion and patience when handling animals.
- Basic knowledge of animal behavior and medical terminology.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in stressful situations.
- Willingness to take direction and adapt to new tasks and procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Punctuality and reliability, with a commitment to maintaining a high standard of care.
- A positive attitude, professionalism, and a compassionate approach to client care.
- Willingness to continue learning and stay updated on veterinary practices.

Pay
$19.00-$22.50 an hour depending on experience and education.
Schedule
This is a Full-Time position: 4 days a week / 10-hour shifts. Weekends are required.
