About the role
The Hospital: Noah's Animal Hospital & 24-Hour Emergency Center
Schedule: 7pm-7am or 9pm-7am
Responsibilities
- Provide competent and compassionate health care for pets
- Contribute to a warm and memorable experience for pets' human families
- Understand the importance of exceptional client service and patient advocacy
- Work efficiently under pressure
- Be passionate about learning and growing in the practice and career
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience (preferred)
- Time spent in a formal veterinary nursing/technician program will also be considered
- Registered, Licensed or Certified Veterinary Technician (preferred) (RVT, LVT, CVA)
- Emergency, ICU, GP experience (preferred)
- Experience in venipuncture, restraint, IV catheter placement, assessing vitals, medical record notation, intubation/extubation, monitoring anesthesia, minor drug calculations, dentistry, radiographs, post-surgical care, fecal flotation, and interpreting results
