Veterinary Assistant/Technician

About the role

The ideal candidate will have one to two years of veterinary technician experience—however we are willing to train the right person. Being a team player and having a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to excellence are a must!

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during examinations and treatments
• Administer medications and injections
• Perform diagnostic tests and collect samples
• Care for hospitalized patients
• Prepare surgical instruments and equipment
• Record patient medical histories and treatment progress
• Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and billing

Requirements

• A high school diploma, or equivalent
• Veterinary Technician Licensure preferred, but not required

Qualifications

Skills

• Proficient in computer software
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
