Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist

Full-time position with pay ranging from $17 to $22 per hour, depending on experience.

About the role

We’re on the hunt for a Veterinary Assistant/Customer Service Representative who can juggle phones, appointments, and furry/feathered/scaled friends while making every client feel like they just walked into a five-star spa.

Responsibilities

• Greeting clients with your brightest smile and making every visit a positive experience
• Answering phones, scheduling appointments, and being the go-to guru for client questions
• Helping veterinarians and techs with admin tasks when assigned to the front desk shift or filling in for our front desk team
• Keeping client records up-to-date and the reception area looking fabulous
• Checking in appointments and assisting veterinarians when assigned to the Veterinary Assistant position

Requirements

• Previous customer service or veterinary experience (bonus points if you can speak "woof," "meow," or "squawk")
• Able to multitask—answer the phone while soothing a nervous kitty
• Detail-oriented, organized, and ready to roll with a positive attitude
• Computer-savvy, reliable, and as dependable as a Labrador fetching a ball
