Veterinary Assistant or Technician

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during examinations and procedures
• Administer medications and treatments as directed
• Clean and prepare examination and treatment areas
• Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining records
• Provide customer service to clients and patients
• Perform basic laboratory tests and assist with diagnostic imaging

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Technology or related field preferred
• Current license to practice veterinary technology in North Carolina
• Experience in a veterinary setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
