About the role
Lynn Animal Hospital is seeking a Full-Time, Experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our growing and supportive team!
We are a well-established small animal practice with a strong focus on teamwork, client education, and high-quality medicine.

Compensation
$18–$22 per hour, based on experience
Hospital Hours
- Monday–Friday: 7:30 AM – 7:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Sunday: Closed
Required Skills & Experience
- Animal handling and restraint
- IV catheter placement
- Surgical and dental experience (preferred)
- (Training available for digital dental X-rays)
- Monitoring anesthesia and understanding anesthesia equipment
- Recognizing and reporting abnormal patient parameters to doctors
Client Interaction & Education
- Knowledgeable in vaccines and preventives
- Able to collect accurate patient histories
- Confident in client education, including:
- Vaccines and preventives
- Fluid therapy
- Insulin administration at home
- Comfortable explaining the “why” behind vaccine and preventive protocols

What You'll Bring To The Team
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- A calm and efficient approach, with the ability to handle a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment with composure
- Calm and confident in handling pets of all sizes and temperaments
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in fundamental veterinary skills ranging from laboratory and pharmacy to nursing and radiology is a strong asset
