Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of basic veterinary procedures and terminology
• Obtain detailed patient histories and provide excellent patient care and monitoring
• Perform proficient venipuncture
• Multitask well and think critically in a fast-paced environment
• Communicate clearly and effectively with team members and clients
• Remain composed during stressful and emotional situations
• Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams
• Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture

Requirements

• Veterinary assistant experience, including knowledge of basic veterinary procedures and terminology
• Proficient venipuncture skills
• Ability to multitask well and think critically on your feet
• Strong time management and the ability to remain composed during stressful and emotional situations
• A collaborative mindset and commitment to exceptional patient care
• Clear and effective communication skills

Schedule

Hospital is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Open shifts include:

• Saturday and Sunday mid-day shifts
• Weekday and weekend swing shifts
• Friday and Saturday overnights
