What Success Looks Like
- Veterinary Assistant Duties:
- Compassionate Care Provider: Handle, restrain, comfort, and reassure animals of all temperaments.
- Medical Support Expert: Assist with treatments, diagnostics, and surgeries; monitor patients; maintain records.
- Hospital Caretaker: Maintain cleanliness, organize facilities, and ensure a sanitary environment.
- Communication Liaison: Relay patient updates and ensure care continuity among the team.
- Client Educator: Communicate care plans, instruct home treatment to clients, and guide medication use.
- Client Care Representative Duties:
- Creating Exceptional First Impressions: Warmly greet clients and their pets, making them feel welcome and valued.
- Communication Excellence: Manage multi-line phone systems, gather and document important information accurately, and convey pet care instructions clearly and compassionately.
- Appointment Wizard: Masterfully schedule, confirm, and manage appointments while efficiently handling check-ins and check-outs with proper documentation.
- Team Coordination: Alert appropriate departments when patients arrive, distribute daily schedules, and ensure patient files are properly prepared and updated.
- Professional Environment: Maintain an inviting, clean, and organized reception area that helps create a positive experience for clients and their pets.

Qualifications
- Education & Experience:
- A high school diploma or equivalent required
- 2+ years of experience completing the details listed above
- Anesthesia monitoring experience preferred but not required as we are willing to train the right candidate
- An associate degree in veterinary technology or continuing education in veterinary science a plus
