Responsibilities
Safely and compassionately restrain dogs and cats during examinations and treatments
Avoids assisting veterinarians and technicians with patient care and medical procedures
Obtains patient histories and vital signs
Walks, feeds, and cares for hospitalized patients
Prepares and cleans examination rooms between appointments
Performs routine laboratory support and assists with diagnostic procedures as needed
Maintains accurate medical records
Affords assistance to receptionists with patient check-in, check-out, and client communication
Performs cleaning, laundry, stocking, and general hospital maintenance
Supports teammates throughout the hospital to keep the day running smoothly
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:

Veterinary experience is preferred but not required.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a veterinary setting is preferred but not required
- Ability to lift and move patients
- Knowledge of basic veterinary terminology and procedures
- Basic computer skills
