Responsibilities
- Support veterinarians and technicians with patient care and daily hospital operations
- Assist with patient restraint, treatments, and procedures
- Safely and compassionately handle patients of varying sizes and temperaments
- Assist with wellness appointments and patient care throughout the day
- Help prepare exam rooms and treatment areas for patient care
- Assist with sample collection and basic diagnostic procedures based on experience
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and team members
- Keep exam rooms, treatment areas, and hospital spaces clean, organized, and well stocked
- Deliver compassionate care to patients and exceptional service to clients
- Jump in wherever needed to help maintain an efficient daily workflow
Requirements
- Previous Veterinary Assistant experience preferred
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
