Jackson Family Dentistry in Jackson, WY is seeking a full-time, hourly Dental Assistant ($21–$28/hr, depending on experience).
About Our Practice
At Jackson Family Dentistry, we take a personable, communicative approach to dental care, combining a warm, relationship-based environment with advanced methods and modern technology. Our collaborative team consists of 2 Doctors, 3 Hygienists, and 3 Office Team members working together to deliver a patient experience that is second to none.
Schedule
- Monday – Thursday: 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM
- Fridays: as needed
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the doctors during a variety of treatment procedures, utilizing advanced technology including CEREC and digital scanners.
- Set up and break down treatment rooms following strict infection control and OSHA protocols.
- Take high-quality digital dental radiographs (X-rays) and intraoral impressions/scans.
- Manage patient flow efficiently, ensuring comfort and providing compassionate care before, during, and after treatment.
- Maintain accurate electronic patient records and treatment documentation.
- Provide clear post-operative instructions and dental hygiene education to patients.
- Assist with instrument sterilization and maintenance of dental equipment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred; proficiency with CEREC and digital scanners is highly valued.
- X-ray certification required (or willing to obtain).
- Excellent communication, multitasking, and interpersonal skills to seamlessly integrate with our close-knit 8-member team.
