Responsibilities

• Support patient care from start to finish
• Assist with exams and treatments
• Prepare rooms, instruments, and patients
• Collect samples and run basic diagnostics
• Maintain accurate medical records
• Support surgeries and dentistry days
• Keep the hospital clean and organized
• Be a friendly and reassuring presence for pets and their people

Requirements

• Previous veterinary assistant experience preferred
• Comfortable handling dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments
• A team player who communicates clearly and helps out when needed
• Stays calm, organized, and positive on busy days
• A genuine love for animals and the people who care for them

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current VTOMS certification (or willing to obtain)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
