Key Responsibilities
- Aid veterinarians during examinations and procedures
- Provide safe and effective animal restraint as needed
- Support patient care and treatment duties
- Maintain practical knowledge of clinic procedures and policies
- Aid doctors and team members as needed across departments
- Contribute to a positive, professional, and efficient clinic environment
Physical & Emotional Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift and move patients and equipment
- Capability to handle the physical and emotional demands of veterinary medicine, including euthanasia
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to safely handle and control aggressive animals
- Professional, courteous demeanor with clients and staff
- Strong active listening, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Effective time management, judgment, and decision-making abilities
Education & Experience
- High school diploma required
- Veterinary Assistant certification preferred
Pay
Base hourly rate of $18.00 - $22.00 DOE

Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
